Can I play PvE with friends, and do I need Premium?
Yes. Choose Isolated Raids for PvE alone or in co-op. The community manager confirmed that every purchased edition has unlimited Isolated access; the old token limit is gone. They also confirmed that Investigations and story contracts can be completed in PvE.
Why do I still meet players when I select Solo?
Solo controls squad size. Open + Solo matches you with other solo players, so PvP is still possible. Choose Isolated when you want a raid without other player squads. Check both the raid subtype and the squad setting before deploying.
Does solo PvE work offline?
Plan on playing online. Isolated means there are no other player squads; it does not promise an offline mode. The Steam listing requires a broadband connection, and the offline mode discussed by players is a request, not an announced feature.
Will the Steam launch wipe my progress?
The announced plan is no forced global wipe at the Steam or console launch. Personal timeline resets are a separate progression choice after completing the required Monolith progression. This reflects the announced policy as of September 5, 2026.
I bought the Gaijin version. Do I have to buy it again on Steam?
Eligible Early Version owners can claim the matching Steam edition free until November 23, 2026. Follow the official account-linking instructions using the Gaijin account that owns the game. Launcher progress transfers and replaces any Steam demo progress; Steam play starts September 15, 2026. If that Gaijin account is already linked to Steam, use the same Steam account.
Why can’t I buy or play the full game on Steam yet?
The announced Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S release date is September 15, 2026. As of September 5, the PC Early Version is available through Gaijin. The community manager said Steam pre-orders were unlikely this close to launch; claiming a Steam edition does not unlock it ahead of release.
Can I use a controller? What about Steam Deck?
The official FAQ says the game is playable with a controller, with support still being improved. If inputs fail, check that gamepad input is enabled in the controls options and include your controller model when reporting the problem. Steam Deck compatibility is a separate question: the Steam Deck discussion linked below has no official compatibility answer, so controller support should not be treated as Deck verification.
