Flowermen Guide

Look for human shapes among the plants and check the surrounding vegetation before attacking. A visible Flowerman may have other members of its nest nearby. Keep a clear route back and use incendiary equipment without blocking your own escape.

At a glance

  • Identify the humanoid outline, bright flowers, and unnatural stillness before entering dense vegetation.
  • Scan the full nest before the first shot. Look for the rest of the group before attacking the first target you see.
  • Use incendiary equipment to control plant threats, but do not place fire across the only exit you have.

Recognize the threat before it rushes

  • Look for a human-shaped silhouette broken up by leaves and bright orange or red flower growth.
  • Check bushes and tree lines for repeated shapes. A nest can contain multiple inactive bodies.
  • Identify biome-specific lure-bushes and roots around the area before stepping closer.
  • Assume an Alpha may be present when the cluster, rewards, or objective indicates a higher-danger group.
A Flowerman has a human face and torso surrounded by branches, dense leaves, and orange-red flower clusters.

Look for a human face inside the foliage and orange-red flowers extending above the shoulders. This official appearance reference shows one form; other biomes have different variants.

Use a controlled fight plan

  1. Back up to hard cover or open ground with a known retreat before firing.
  2. Choose the first target that can close distance fastest or block your exit.
  3. Place incendiary damage where it separates the group from you, not on your retreat line.
  4. Move after each rush and reload only when the next target cannot reach you.
  5. If an Alpha reaches your high position or the group splits your attention, disengage along the cleared route.

Correct these Flowerman mistakes

You shoot the first visible body immediately.Scan the surrounding vegetation and identify the entire nest before starting the contact.

You retreat through burning ground.Place incendiary effects across the approach while leaving the rear route clear.

You climb and stop watching the Alpha.Keep a second escape route. Current Alphas can pressure elevated positions.
